Paro

One Valley Journey

5 nights

Paro Valley, the starting point of every journey into Bhutan

A glimpse of Bhutan is already shown while flying over the country, and preparing for landing at the international airport in the Paro Valley. Home to the iconic Tigerโ€™s Nest Monastery, it is the valley where your Bhutanese journey starts and ends. Because of its strategic location, it is the ideal valley to experience all that Bhutan has to offer without the need to change accommodation every night. For the nature lover, the wellness seeker, or the cultural adventurer, there is a lot to see and to do in and around the Paro Valley, especially in combination with day trips to Thimphu (the capital), the Haa Valley, and Punakha Valley.

Paro & Punakha

Two Valleys Journey

8 nights

Punakha Valley, an active add-on to your Bhutan journey
On the way to the warmer, more subtropical part of Bhutan, the Dochula Pass will be passed, a majestic and sacred site, where on bright days, a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the snow-capped Eastern Himalayas can be enjoyed. The Punakha Valley is home to the oldest and most beautiful Dzong (a fort that used to house the spiritual and worldly leadership of the region). The Punakha Dzong was once the center of power in Bhutan, and still, the spiritual leadership moves there during the winter. The Punakha Valley offers active experiences like mountain biking and river rafting for the adventurous traveller among us.

Paro, Punakha
& Gangtey

Three Valleys Journey

11 nights

Gangtey Valley, a mind-nourishing add-on to your Bhutan Journey

The correct name of this valley is the Phobjikha Valley. It is commonly referred to as Gangtey Valley because of the prominent 17th-century Gangteng Monastery situated on a hill overlooking the vast, U-shaped glacial valley in central Bhutan. The Gangtey Valley is a designated conservation area, a protected wetland, and the winter home for the endangered black-necked cranes. The Gangtey Valley is a place to contemplate, to rest and reflect in silence, a beautiful place for the mindful traveler.

Let us know your special interests, and we will craft your dream journey in the Paro (5 nights), Punakha Valley (3 nights) and the Gangtey Valley (3 nights).
